Cardiac Rehabilitation
Rehabilitation is an integral part of care for many patients being treated for cardiovascular disease. Through the Joan and Joel Smilow Cardiac Rehabilitation Center, attending physicians, residents and fellows, medical students, and rehabilitation staff work together to assure state-of-the-art medical education and patient care. Special classes and workshops are available for practicing physicians. Training in the allied health professions (such as physical and occupational therapy) is also available.
