Evaluating Stent Grafts for Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair

Vascular surgeons at NYU have been instrumental in the evaluation and ultimate FDA approval of aortic endografts. NYU Medical Center is an FDA-designated site for stent graft trials.

GORE, an internationally recognized biomedical research company, has developed a new aortic stent graft called Excluder. The Excluder Endograft is used to repair abdominal aortic aneurysms.

NYU surgeons participated in the clinical trial that will ultimately be presented to the FDA prior to the clinical approval of this new, improved stent.
